I need a new tranny, mine is starting to crap out. my flywheel ring gear completely broke away from the flywheel, i openned it up and jb welded it back on actually to make it hold out until i buy a new one, but i figure i can get a whole new tranny for the price of a decent flywheel so i might as well replace it all the next time i pull it out of the car. my question is how much should i be paying for a new tranny and what tranny should i be using for my b16? i want as close of gear ratios as i can get, dont mind if 5th gear runs high rpms on the freeway, what are all the options and what would u guys go with?

the gsr matches up correctly with no problems? any other suggestions what all will work correctly?

 

Any B series tranny will mate to any B series block. You just need to worry about whetther it's cable or hydro.
