92-95 Civic H22 swap questions
OK my Accord has an H22 in it which is getting a serious all motor build in it and will be sitting around the 12:1 compression ratio.
So heres my thought.
After its done and I set my goal of 13 seconds in the Accord with the engine I was thinking of getting a 92-95 Civ Hatch to swap this engine into...strictly track car....and placing a JDM H22 in the Accord for daily use again.
So what are the logistics of the H22 Civic swap? and what kind of possible times would be realistic from this setup?

Figure a .1 drop in 1/4 mile for every 100 pounds the Civic is lighter than your Accord. So, if you run a 13 in your Accord and the Civic you choose is ~800 pounds lighter, you'll be in the low 12s.
Obviously weight difference will depend on trim of the Accord and Civic.
Logistics? Pick up a set of motor mounts designed for the H22, and do your VTEC wiring if the Civic is nonVTEC.
