Fuel Line 101
I posted this in 92+ but I think you guys will get more use out of it
------------------------------------------------------
I don't know if you guys remember me posting a while back about an article that I read in SCC about the fuel line that goes from the rail to the filter. SCC said with a swap, you need to use the GSR (or whatever engine) line instead of the stock (D15B7) line.
Well, I had the D15B7 line on my car still and I was having various fuel issues. I was using the D15B7 IAT as well and occasionally would run a CEL so I got a new IAT from Sohfast and that fixed the problem, but I was still running into fuel issues (engine would all of a sudden run totally lean and shudder...)
Also, I just installed a BBK 255LPH OEM replacement fuel pump and my fuel pressure jumped from 40 PSI to 70 psi and I couldn't get it to lower with my B&M FPR....
SO, with all that history expained, I got the B18C1 fuel line tonight and just installed it. Right off the bat I noticed that my fuel pressure was back down to 40 psi.
good..
Also, took it for a drive and now when I go WOT, my A/F gauge jumps right up to just between stoich and rich.
Before, it would drop past lean and not light up at all until I let off again... :woowoo:
Long story short, for all of you running a hybrid, I highly recommend spending the $30+ on that fuel line. I got it from Sohfast.com for WAY cheaper than Honda price.
Enjoy!

A friend of mine had a '92 Si with a B18C1 swap and it refused to pull once he reached VTEC. We couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with it until we hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to the filter and it read around 70 lbs of pressure at idle. They took the hose off and did something, I'm assuming opened that hole up a bit, and it ran fine after that. I would agree though, get the GS-R line. Seeya.
