Default whats the real deal with lightened crank pulleys????

So could anybody tell me if a lightened underdrive pulley makes any difference from there own experience. I hear a bunch of stuff from everybody; some say they do offer pretty good gains, some say they dont make any difference, some say will mess up your crank after a while. dont know what to believe. please enlighten me.

ok, IMO the crank pulley is not worth it if you do not know what you are doing with the timing etc. For the little gains you will receive you can end up losing a lot more if you mess up the timing. If they are installed right/timed right then there should not be any problems. You will feel a little gain in response and mid range power, but do not expect monsterous gains....
