Need Help

I was wondering if a D16Y8 swap would be easy to do in a 1985 CRX? Picked up hte car from my friend in mint condition, but the head is shot. Please need help.

Is it a 1st gen CRX? Because if it is and its not an Si then it has a carb and going from carburated to fuel injected might prove difficult.

Yes it is the 1st. gen, and it is the Si version.

well I dont know about motor mounts but the only difficult thing I can think of is going from dual point inj. to 4 point inj

Getting a OBD II motor to run in a 1st gen pre OBD car is going to be annoying.IMO,you'd be way better off getting ahold of a B16A 89-91 or a ZC or other motor from that era,most will drop in a the wiring will be much more fun to play with.
