Hey everyone

Im working on my 89 CRX equipped with a JDM B16A swap with the PR3 ecu. My car seems to idle and run ok but the vtec is inoperative. The check engine light has been on before but never affected the operation of the Vtec itself. Checked the malfunction indcator light on top of the ecu and it flashes this sequence

6 quick flashes - - - - - - then two long flashes ___ ___ then three short flashes - - - then it cycles back to the 6 short flashes again.

First question, is this code 6 and then code 3? If so, what does this identify as the issue? If it is not the above mentioned codes then what the heck are they? Any help that you can provide is much appreciated.

Looks like a 6 and a 23 to me.
