Default B Tranny Strength *OPINIONS*

Im looking for opinions/ expirience/ proof, which b series trannys are the strongest. I need to replace mind and am seriously considering a R tranny. If the relative strength of all of them are the same, then maybe a rebuild would be an order!! Opinions Please!!

Generally street/ strip. No autocross....yet. I am just interested in which one has the strongest diff, and possibly stronger syncros. I have very bad luck with my syncros, i need to ease up on the powershifting:slap:

if you plan to autocross much in the future, get one w/ a limited slip. Even with 92 stock hp, I can feel the need for an LSD on the autocross course.

If you drag, get a gsr tranny and add a limited slip. Good all around.

So to your knowledge the R trannys are just shorter geared, lsd'd gsr trannys. Nothing special with the internals or syncros??

I may just go with one of the R's just because that will save me the money of buying a gsr trans and then an lsd on top of that. Thanks for your input:bigok:

:werd: a diff install is REALLY ex$pensive... and unless youre a proffessional tranny guy, you can't DIY.
