Default 96 MC/booster

Would a 96+ 15/16 master cylinder and booster bolt up to a 92-95 DX? The 96 MC has ABS. Would I need to reflare or bend lines? TIA.

You would need to reflare and bend one line. You would also need an integra brake booster.

great...thanks for the quick reply. I knew the ABS MC setups would need flaring or bending. Just wanted to make sure.

...I got the rear discs in...although the freaking bearings are shot and the calipers are frozen. ....im too pissed off right now.

I think there's a specific 15/16ths booster that works with no bending or reflaring... 91 Civic sedan EX or something like that.

Default What's up?

The '92-'95 EX/Si should be a 15/16" MC that will bolt right in. The '94+ GS-R (not possitve on all years) 1" ABS MC needs to have one line cut and reflared (you need the fitting to make sure you grab it). I think the Type R's also use a 1" MC that doesn't need any modification. Some of the later ('96+) GS-R's might use the same MC, but I'm not sure. I konw the one I had had to be cut and reflared. Seeya.

Yes, I've done some research on the MC. The 92-95 Si should bolt right in. The 90-91 Civic EX sedan also has a 15/16 MC that bolts right in. I might go that route.

The GSR and ITR is 1 inch. The GSR needs reflaring, the ITR needs rebending AND reflaring b/c the lines enter on the opposite side from my stock setup. I want to go with the ITR but I dont trust myself bending the hardlines.

thanks for all the input guys

You could always use tube nuts and soft lines... wouldn't be that expensive.

wouldn't it look kinda sloppy though? I dunno, I've never seen that on a honda/acura.... sounds like it would be pretty easy though.
