You can see it pointing at my inlet filter here:

You can see the other end of the ducting peeking thru the left side hole in my bumper:
Do you have any instructions on how to make with the aluminum dryer duct?

Its all pretty self explanitory, theres a hole where your stock intake resonator goes through the sheet metal. Just stick some ducting down there, aim it at your bumper vent with a coat-hanger or something and run it up to your air filter.

Make? They sell it at Home Depot. Get some, and route it from a hole in your bumper to your airbox or filter, done.

If you guys can feel a difference from using a dryer hose and not using a dryer hose then you have some amazing butt dynos.

Inspyral is different since he is turboed so the effect maybe noticible.

but for relatively stock engines.... I doubt you can "fell" the difference. more psychological than anything else.

Well you know how you can sometimes feel the difference when driving on a cold or warm day? Its kinda like that.... not much, just the car seems to be in a better mood.

I already know how to do that. From the picture, it looks as though it goes into the air filter.

Would an AEM CAI be much different from this? Not design-wise, but performance-wise.

The AEM CAI V2, claims performance gains, by "resonatting" the air (getting it to vibrate at multiple frequencies) I think this allows for denser compaction of the air :dunno:

Could these the ridges on the tubings producing turbulence be of any benefit/detriment?

Since the ridges are inline before the filter, they wouldn't have any real effect on the air pattern. Whatever odd thing the air may be doing as it passes through the duct is stifled by the filter itself.
