Default problem with JG intake manifold.

As you might or might not know, I have been working on my 1st gen b16 so I can get it back into my hatch. I went to swap all the stuff from my intake manifold over to my new JG one and there is a noticable difference in where stuff mounts. There isn't places to mount some of the stuff and some that are just located abnormal from the oem one. Does anyone have one of these on their b16? I was thinking about sending it back and getting a skunk2 but I don't know if that would help me at all.

I've heard of people having to drill and tap vac ports, but this was on boost applications. The Skunks are direct replacements, with provisions for all the OEM connections.

if you do decide to ship it back, you'd prolly save yourself some money by getting a type r one instead of a skunk2 one, they perform almost the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Skunk2's manifold basically a ITR one?

I think skunk2 flows a bit better. more like a ported itr one.

Regarding that Skunk2 Intake Manifold...are they worth the money? I can get a deal on one at "Import Horizon" for 255.
Is this a good price? I have no other bolt ons in my engine bay at this time, but will soon add an AEM C/A/I. Am I wasting money
adding an intake manifold at this early stage?
I also intend to bolt on a header/hi-flow cat in the near future.
My goals are simply a little more power/ and increased driveability.
What will I accomplish with the Skunk 2..besides spending money.

I think there are things that you can do that would get you more hp for the money but once you have all of those then I think it would be a good idea to get a intake manifold.
