okay this question is gonna seem kinda wierd but bare with me...

i want a jdm b18c1 and i'm gonna boost it, everything will be re-inforced but here's where it gets complicated. i would love to just use the tranny(manual) but i just had knee surgery and it's gonna be messed up for awhile(left knee) hence i cannot push in the clutch. so i guess i'm stuck with an automatic(that blows!). but then i was thinking, how bout an auto-stick? i think the closest one would be a usdm prelude H22 I think. Is it possible to mate the tranny up to this block? please tell me whatcha think and if anybody has experience with this...thanks

 

it is possible with a lot of custom work, the cost i think would not be worth it...i reccemend being patient and wait for the 5 spd.

 

i would but i'm not sure how long my knee will be messed up for, could be years, i have a lil bit of money, are we talking excessive amounts here?

 

For the money it would cost, you could probably sell your teg and get a prelude instead. If you want to be a little more peppy and still use the JDM B18C, they made automatic GSR's and I beleive some B16's came with an automatic tranny. You could use those trannies in your teg, but I'm not sure how hard the wiring would be.
