Default Help with Spark Plugs

I just did an engine shampoo yesterday, same as usual, but as soon as i took her out for a spin I noticed that the car was missing. I pulled all the plugs and noticed that there was water and condensation in one of the sparkplug holes. I tried cleaning it off but its still missing. I'm assuming a tiny bit of water may have gotten in when i was rinsing the engine off. Any ideas how to get rid of this problem??

You'll need to take out all of the spark plug wires and dry the tubes out with a heat gun or hair dryer. Make sure that the wires themselves are all dry too, and aren't cracking down at the ends. If that doesn't clear it up, take off the distributor cap. What we commonly find is that an old, cracking cap gasket will let moisture in to the distributor and cause the spark to ground out. If you need a new cap gasket, let me know what year/model it is and I can send you one.
