Default B17A1 engine buildup

I just bought a 92 GS-R with the venerable B17A1 engine. I would like to bolt on in the following order: A DC Sports cat-back muffler, an AEM cold Air Intake, a DC 4-1 Header (probably this summer...when the money tree grows) and maybe some other goodies.
My question is..should I do some type of engine re-build on the
11 year old engine with 120K first? What does the re-build involve? Your comments?

Most Acura cylinder bores wear pretty well, meaning that even with 150K+ mile on them, they have less than .002 wear on the cylinders and are still within spec. The main thing I see is the valve seats and guides get pretty beat up. So I would lean towards a valve job and with the head off look at the condition of the cylinders. Shouldn't be a big ridge at the top. Maybe one just big enough you can barely feel it with your fingertip after you clean the carbon off. Of course now would be the time to throw on a new timing belt and maybe change cam gears if not the cams...

Thanks for the reply. What is the typical "valve job" cost? I will
probably take it to the Acura dealer for this, as I am no mechanic.
The timing belt was changed at 115K. I will probably take it to
my local muffler shop for the exhaust bolt-ons.

Don't know the labor to pull the head but for a basic valve job and surface on one of those heads I charge $130 plus parts. Might be a little more or less in your area.
