Default B18B lower end build

I building up a B18B to drop into a 95 civic. For the lower end, I plan on using factory bearings for the stock crank. I've done all the homework to find the right color codes and stuff and I'll probably check it with plastigauge anyway. I also have a set of Eagle H-beam rods that I plan on putting in and I plan to use factory bearings with these too.

Any recommendations on which color bearings to use with the Eagle rods? The rod journals are stamped "B".

How about aftermarket bearings? So far, the only thing I can find are rebuild kits.

I've never heard anyone complain about acl bearings. I've also never heard anyone complain about OEM green (or yellow) accross the mains

you can get aftermarket bearings from any parts store. I have never had any probs with clevite and ACL are fine too. I have used top line bearings and don't know if they make their own or not but they don't look as nice as the clevite. I sell a ton of the Eagle rods and have measured many just top check them out and they are all the same bore size. I would just use a set of clevite bearings on the rods and plastigage them.
