Default Canton Racing fuel filters

Thought I would let you know... Canton Racing just released an OEM-fitting fuel filter replacement with 1 micron filtration.

OEM banjo fitting on one side, OEM 14mm flare on the other. It's about double OEM height, but fits the stock bracket perfectly.

Sweet, how much is that piece? Their cartridge oil filters are nice too.

$80, and uses a reusable element like all their other fuel filters.

I lied. The inlet is a 14mm flare... which is OEM as well.

They don't include a banjo bolt?
Did they use NPT threads or something?

Nah it is supposed to be OEM banjo bolt, using the one from my B&M kit. NPT tapped head so I can include the gauge. Fits in a Carquest fuel filter, so it's not my bolt.

The pitch is real close, I can get say... 2, 3 threads in before it crossthreads.

I was hoping to have the throttle bodies on this weekend. :happysad:

You can always run a $14 OEM filter in the meantime

The oem filter um... doesn't fit. :naughty:

I went to a place called Detroit Flexible... www.hosenow.com

They've got everything under the sun, adapted all my stuff to -6 AN with a handful of fittings. Came out to $35 for all required fittings. Steel braid going on tomorrow.
