Burning oil :dunno:
So, my motor is burning a little oil off and puffing some silver/blue smoke. I have total seal rings on there and ARP head studs and the machine shop filed and installed the rings for me. I took the cams out today and retorqued the head, but it was still tight from when I originally installed it.
When I took the #1 spark plug out today, I could see that the top of the piston was black and wet looking so I'm sure I'm buring oil. I'm running an OEM head gasket, but if that were not working correctly wouldn't I be burning coolant too?
Anyone have any ideas?

Do a compression test. If numbers are low in one or more cylinders, add some oil to them and retest. If compression goes up, it's your rings, if it stays the same or goes down, it's your valve seals.

I meant to do that when I had it all apart yesterday too. I'll do that today.

Thanks mang! I'll post up the results.
