Default Help please

Ok, Ive had this problem, and I really want an answer, cuz its bugging the hell out of me.

I have a 91 accord, and lately when I am at stop lights, the idle will drop, and the steering wheel shakes, and then it goes back up. This also happens more if i am pressing the brakes when stopped.

Another thing I figure that is linked is when stopped, and not touching anything, the motor shakes, but if you tap the idle up just a tiny bit, it stops. The idle is set at around 800 when warmed up, and setting it up higher doesnt help any. If the a/c is on, it also shakes pretty bad. The thing that comes to mind is the rear motor mount. I wanna know for sure before i go out buying one first.

Its just really really annoying. I have an AEM CAI and thats it for upgrades. As for replaced parts, I have done, plugs, wires, whole distributer, cap, rotor, pcv valve, timing adjusted, fuel filter, fuel pump, oils pretty new. It was colder than normal here a week or two ago, but its back to normal. And motors got 190k on it.

I also have a stereo system, but this was happening before i got it. and doesnt seem to have any effect whether on or off.

Thanks to any help.

If u think it might be a motor mount, try jacking ur car up and getting under there and look at it. If it looks is good shape ur fine. The motor mount is really easy to check. the rear one will be right above your cat on the steering rack

well try checking the easier mounts first, front/sides because the rear one can be a pain to get to/replace. Also, try letting the car idle then when it does the vibration get out and see if you feel more vibration on the driver/passenger side or the front of the car, that could be a good indicator as to which mount needs to be replaced. Ive havent been impressed with a lot of the honda mounts so far as im having the same problem on my 99 prelude and I only have 50K miles, I think I found the problem and it seems to be the driver side mount is no good....

Yeah, I figured it was one of them, cuz a while back, before I was lowered, I forgot that there is a huge drop off into a parking lot, its a drop of about 10 feet in around 4 or 5 feet, its huge, but anyways, I kinda got a lil airborn, and its done it since then.

Now I have a new problem. The first time when I start my car after a while, when I press the brakes, everything electrical shuts off, and comes back on. Tonight I found that if i put the window all the way up/down, and then let go of the switch, it will flash everything running off the battery, including lights. This Is kinda anoying me alot. Anyone have a similar thing happen?

go to your local midas or shucks, and have them test your recharging system, sounds like your altenator or your batterey.
