Default Transmission case

i have a '99 jdm itr engine and my transmission case is leaking from a hairline crack by one of the bolts. i need some info on whether or not it can be welded or where i can buy a new case

If you want to take it somewhere to get it welded, make sure they have a TIG welding machine. Or you could just fill it full of JB Weld, that would work, and be the cheapest.

I agree, I think JB weld would do the trick, but I'd drain the tranny and be sure to clean it up as best as you can before applying the JB. JMO.

ok, i'll try the tig welding because i've tried the jb weld and it didn't work. thanks for the help

where did you buy your case? and aprox how much cost?
