anyone have this problem....

Default anyone have this problem....

ok i pulled out my motor to swap in a h22... becuase of some problems i decided to put my old motor back in..which ran fine when i pulled it out... we put the old one back in and now when i start it it jumps straight to 5 grand.... i replaced my tpc..map and iacv and it does the same thing... i unhooked my throttle cables and it will still do it... i checked all my vacuums and they all look fine.... anyone have any suggestions?... my car is a 96 accord lx...thanks in advance

Did you plug your TPS, MAP, and IACV plugs into the right sensors? Those three plugs all look alike, and will plug into any of those three sensors. If you have one or more of them mismatched, that could cause the problem you're describing.

sounds like inspyral said, one of the sensors is wrong, because even if you had a problem with one of those parts I dont think it would make it rev THAT high, maybe around 2 or 3 grand...
