Car won't start? Fuel pump?
Before i left for the store yesterday my car started kinda ruff. When i tried leaving the store my car wouldn't start. The engine turns but it won't start. The ignition is good, i'm getting sparks from the sparkplugs, the battery is fully charged and all my fuses are good. It looks like i'm not getting any gas. btw i just filled up. Could it be my fuel pump. How could i check if it works? also could it be my fuel injectors or the fuel rails. Please help me !!!!

Turn the car to on and hear if the fuel rail pressurizes or not. If it doesn't, check the fuel pump and filter.

to test pump:
ChrisDC2: If you want to test to see if the pump works, take it out and wire it directly to the battery or any other 12v source you can think of.
ChrisDC2: if he wants to see **** shoot, put that baggy inlet side in a bucket of water or something
ChrisDC2: but it should be fine to test dry just don't spin it that long

Remember the fuel pump is controlled by the main relay. Two things should happen when the key is first in the ON position: you should hear the main relay click under the dash and then the fuel pump buzz for two seconds. Put your seatbelt on first so you don't get interrupted by the reminder chime.
Main relays are common failure, but so are fuel pumps.
