Ring & Pinion Gear ratio kit?
Hi, I have a stroked sleeved turbo b16a and I'm looking at tranny
upgrades,
Ok I have a LSD, but I am looking for higher top speed and I wasn't sure if anybody made final drive ratio gear lower than stock in a y21 tranny. Right now I can get to about 155mph at 8500rpm but I need more speed at lower rpms. All I can find is kits to raise the ratio. Do you guys know of anything? Maybe a longer 5th gear? Is there a company that makes stuff like this?

You can get an LS transmission, which has longer individual gears besides first gear, as well as a longer final drive.

1 problem, the LS trany has a smaller ring or final drive gear physically. And it will not fit onto the lsd. We are currently looking for a way to utilize a jdm type-r lsd into an ls 5speed. We are looking to see if a gsr ring and pinion (final drive gears) will work in on the lsd and in the housing.
