Default Ring & Pinion Gear ratio kit?

Hi, I have a stroked sleeved turbo b16a and I'm looking at tranny
upgrades,

Ok I have a LSD, but I am looking for higher top speed and I wasn't sure if anybody made final drive ratio gear lower than stock in a y21 tranny. Right now I can get to about 155mph at 8500rpm but I need more speed at lower rpms. All I can find is kits to raise the ratio. Do you guys know of anything? Maybe a longer 5th gear? Is there a company that makes stuff like this?

I don't know if you can find a lower FD, or a longer 5th, but you can always run a taller tire.

I would suggest the same thing. Either go with a bigger tire or your out of luck. Front wheel drives just aren't the same because you have such a small tranny with the differential in it so if you change the diff your going to have to change the gearing too and finding a combination that would work would take you a lot of trial and error due to the fact not many people have messed with honda gearing, but i'll be willing to bet money on it it can be done. The only thing is you better learn how to tear your tranny down and put the time in finding out what different years trims and models gear ratio is then find out how you can mate them. By the way honda manuals are the easiest trannies to build out there, so be ballsy you could build one easily.

I think he was looking for somehting that would lengthen his gearing, not shorten it.
