Default Darton Sleeves

Hey guys, I'm putting in a set of Darton 84mm sleeves in a customers B18C and although it is a ton of work, it seems like the few other places that I know of that do it charge $6-800. Just wondering what the going rate is in your neck of the woods.

Right around there, and that's in Detroit, where all things car related are cheap.

Darton is really high quality stuff, but I'd be tempted to go with GE just for price reasons. Then again, it would be for an NA application, so I wouldn't have to be quite as concerned about cylinder pressures as the majority of people getting sleeves. I just want the displacement.

Lemme know how it goes.

Cost me 1000 bux give or take to have mine installed. That price included balancing out the crank bore/hone the cyclinder out to match my pistons, alighn honing the mains.

In hind sight I may have went with GE instead of my Dartons.....But there done and in so'm happy.
