Default V-AFC h22a question

I messed around with my V-AFC and changed all the settings.

Yet, when I turned my car off and turned it back on - to my surprise all the settings were gone.

Can someone explain please?

it may be, but i knw both of them know vafc's very well...the only thing i can thing besides defective is if the power is not a good source on it, meaning that either the wire is not right, or the battery power is not lasting for some reason...r hellit could jsut be a fluke...

did you try to initialize the settings? if you do it will reset the VAFC. I misunderstood the instructions when I installed mine and it keep reseting because of this, once you do your settings, DO not initialze setting. Just do the settings, shut the car off and turn it back on. The settings should have saved. Good luck.
