Default Anyone hear of a h22/ls hybrid

has anyone ever heard of putting a H23A1 head of an ls block will it work and is it worth it cause my brother is telling me to put a different head on my motor that has bigger valves which would create more power essentially his first idea was putting a b20 head on my ls and put aftermarket ls cams springs and retainers but i think that might not be worth it cause the displacement in a b20 is not that good which is 1972 compared to an ls thats is 1834 please shine some knowledge my way

WTF :wtf:
the b20 head is the same as the B18B head...well besides the chamber displacement area but blah.

first off, no the H22/H23 head will NOT fit on to the b18b head.

and the displacement of the a b20 is not that good because its 1972cc as compared to an 1834cc b18b?????? then what the heck was the reason for considering an H-series head instead then? the b20b/z gets its extra displacement from the bigger bore of 84mm as compared to the standard 81mm bore on the other B-series.

B20B/Z head = B18B head
