91 civic dx won't start

Default 91 civic dx won't start

my wife's 91 civic is dead (won't start). she's tried to get a
boost but all she hears when she turns the key is a click. any suggestions? a quick response would be appreciated as she's stuck where she works on xmas eve. is there any way to
get this running enough to get it home. its an auto. thanks

got the story straight. it turns over but won't start. i won't know if its a fuel or electrical problem until i get home. any suggestions as to common problems for this year/make of civic? thanks.

The ignitor inside the distributor tends to go bad which will prevent starting.

Yeah... pull one of the spark plugs and ground it and try to turn it over to see if you are getting any spark, with the results take it from there but that is most likely what the problem is.

Default nope

spark is fine, i can't hear the fuel pump when the switch is in the "on" position. main relay was replaced in july. i'm getting 12 volts back at the connector under the seat but at the connector under that little panel, i'm only getting 6.4 vdc. any suggestions? fuel pump bad???
