96 prelude Alternator
Maybe this should be in Audio & Electronics, but not sure. Ok, so I'm thinking... er going to be putting in a better than stock stereo system. My old 89 Accord was able to handle the replaced headunit, speakers and one 400watt 12" sub. I had 2 sub/amp's in there but the poor car couldn't handle the output. So I only left one sub/amp actually hooked up.
Enough rambling... what's the amp output of a stock alternator on a 96 Prelude S? Any suggestions on what would be a good replacement and where to get em from? Each amp has a max 30amp draw. I also have a 1 farad cap in there to help smooth it out. I'm also thinking about getting a 4-channel amp for the front/rear speakers.
