Default Tube Frame Chassis questions...

No... it's not "Engine Tech" but this is the place with the most traffic from the people I trust the most.

Anyhow, I want to learn some more about tube frame chassis... My objective is to make an LMP style car and put a B-Series in the back using the Lotus linkage... Does anyone know anything about where to go or who would do it? cscracing just kinda ignored me after they wanted pics of a car and I sent them pics of the Cadillac Le Mans car. :-(

Help! ;-)

Last year Muhldavi (sp?) Racing had a CRX with an NSX engine in the back at the NOPI Nationals.

Any race car fabricator should be able to do the job. It won't be cheap.

I'd pick up a few chassis fabrication books.

Okay well does anyone have any suggestions on books of this type?

Also, I'm gonna go ahead and take a welding class at our local tech school... That would be benificial ;-)

I would much rather have someone else make it though... I saw on cscracing they make chassis as low as $1800.00 for things that have more welding than the LMP would need.

ANY suggestions would be helpful
