Default LS/Vetc intake manifold

Hey guys Just wanted to know what is the best intake manifold to use with a type r head in an LS/vetc setup in an auto? I was thinking of getting the skunk 2 but people have been telling me to get the stock ITR instead. Any help would be great guys.

Yea... go ITR.

I got a CTR one and I had to machine in a IAT sensor because there was no place for one before. :-/

The skunk2 is basically modelled after the ITR one, but the ITR one is cheaper (espically since you know me, I can get one for like $350), so if you have a type r head or a b16 head, go with the type r, otherwise, go with the skunk2.

All the B-series head have the same exhaust manifold flange and bolt pattern, but the intake manifolds are not interchangeable.

So, if you have a B16/B17/Type-R head and can get an ITR manifold for less than $250 (the cost of the skunk2 manifold for that head) by all means go ahead and snag it.

For the GSR or LS heads, you'll have to hack up the ITR manifold but skunk2 makes applications that will bolt right up.
