Default I'm stumped...

I seem to be having a problem with cold starts (engine is cold)

When I turn it over it starts up no problem but then idles really low (400-500 on v-afc) (on the verge of dying) I need to give it some gas to make it idle higher.

However once warm, the car spins and idles like a champ. Right on 750 +/- 50.

I took my IACV and cleaned it but it didn't seem to help. When warm and idling, if I disconnect the IACV plug the rpms drop off like they should which leads me to beleive the IACV is working.

I thought it could be fast-idle thermo but if it was stuck open or closed it would affect the idle at all conditions, whether warm or not.

The base idle appears to be set fine because like I said the idle when warm is perfect and it runs smooth with no fluctiation. Therefore, even if the IACV or fast idle did not open the car should atleast idle at it's base setting. This is my problem, it appears to idle lower than it's base setting (as defined by the diel control screw)..is that possible?

Help?
