Only other thing to look at is your fuel pressure in that situation. Fuel pressure should remain fairly constant at the fuel rail, shouldn't deviate too much up or down from the stock pressure ~36psi.

Well, I was running an ITR fpr and it seemed to be running too rich so I got the B&M gauge and FPR. I put the gauge on first to see what the ITR FPR was pushing out and it was 50 PSI

So, I used my stock D15B7 FPR (so I didn't ruin the ITR FPR) and put the B&M FPR on. I leaned it down to about 38 PSI, but I dropped my compression down to 9.5:1 so do you think I should lower the pressure even more?

I have a compression tester, but I haven't checked it yet. I'll do that asap! Good suggestion.

Also, I have an MSD blaster coil with dist. cap, Magnacor 10mm plug wires, NGK iridium plugs gapped at 51 and a brand new distributor rotor. I thought that the plugs could be fouled so I bought another set and still have yet to put them in.

Plugs gapped at .051" is going to be a little much. I'm thinkin about .032" for those new ones before you put them in.

Umm.... if you read the service manual, recommended plug gap for a 1997 B18C1 is 0.051"

I don't know what you're gapping for, but if it's a GSR motor you might want to fix those.

0.051" is the service limit, not the reccomended gap. The plugs should be gapped at 0.039-0.043" to start out with.

I'm running at a 9.5:1 compression, what gap do you recommend for my plug application?
