Default JUN ecu chip!

Does anyone know anything about these chips? How they perform and what do they improve! I actually tried an ecu with one installed with it, and my hybrid ran much better! I was very impressed! So i decided to buy one! I just want to know what they actually do and better up in the ecu!

A chipped ECU is great depending on what progam you get. My best friend is selling his JDM small P30 ECU that has a 5500rpm Vtec X-over and an 8600rpm rev limit on it. Im not sure for how much but i think he wants $300-400 for it. It made a world of difference over the stock ECU, but then again he has lots of mods done to the engine so he could utilize the program that was on the ECU.

when you get the chip it really makes a differance if you have a motor that suits the chip. I have a Skunk2 chip and I havent seen a huge difference because I have a stock engine (it's made for a built N/A engine)

your friend will sure make a huge killing on that ecu... anyways what the programs do..is just have advanced ignition adn fuel curves for certain applications... maybe the jun cams.. n1 or gymkhana racing..where they can internally modify ther engines..but tune there ecus for say more midrange..smoother power curve or vtec x-over.. also as the raised rev limited is pointless as your prolly not makiong power over 8k with stock cams..or even tbodya nd intake manifold.
