Default exhaust for swap

I am wondering if the stock exhaust can still be used in a 5th Generation hatchback with a B18C1 swap.
Would an aftermarket exhaust for the 5G civic work also?

Also, what kind of CAI would i have to get?
Would I have to get the one for the Integra? Would this intake fit in the 5G Hatchback?

Thanks

you need a cai for the motor you are putting in
aem for the b18c1 is kinda hard to fit in but it'll work.

as for the exhaust i believe it'll be short (won't reach the exhaust piping or stock cat from the header.

when i did my swap i bought a gsr cat along with the header, and i was about 4 inches away, and greddy sold this one piece that was the exact size needed to bolt it all together.

anyways.... i'd just plan on getting some new exhaust piping done after the swap... easiest way to do it I'd say.

Get a universal muffler and have a welding place make you the piping. But I've always heard get the exhaust for the chassis not for the engine.

that is true get the exhaust for the vehicle the problem I had was the cat for a vx is in the front and the b16 behind the motor off the header so my stock exhaust bolted right up to the header but no cat and that is a nono here so when I get back from deployment I gotta adress that issue(not to mention the vx pipe is no place for b16 gases to be)

I just had an entire exhaust made from the header back. a turbo friendly 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust.

I would think a more friendly pipe would be closer to 3" for a turbo

Stay away from the OBX mufflers on the piping...before 4k they dont buzz...once VTEC hits it's only buzzing. You may want to try an Apexi World Sport later...and be sleeper.

Not for a 1.8L boosting 7.5 psi

My CAI for my '95 sedan worked fine for my B18C1 swap. It fits the tb and fits the car.
