another ls/vtec vs turbo ?

Default another ls/vtec vs turbo ?

i've heard that ls/vtec is unreliable but what about turbo? what do you guys think is better for a daily driver im leaning more towards turbo any input will help? its on a 94 teg rs 118,000 miles

Both can be reliable. It depends on what you do specifically, rather than some grand classification for a general procedure which can be performed any number of different ways.

Either setup, done correctly should have little to no reliability issues. Problems arise when you try to skimp in certain areas, don't use the right components, or fail to tune properly. That said, I would boost your B18B properly, and then add VTEC later on if your funds allow.

I'd consider swapping because with that high of miles, turbo might be unreliable on the stock internals. As long as you do everything by the book, both with be reliable, but in the end I think the LS/VTEC will please you more.
