Default B18c build

I have a built b16a2 currently with the following spec-
*Head skimmed 30 thou
*S2S2 cams
*Supertech springs/retainers
*AEM cam gears
*Cometic h/gasket .027"
*PCT pistons (ek9)
*Lightened flywheel
*Skunk 2 Intake manifold
*Skunk2 70mm T/B

I have just bought a full B18c6 (UK itr engine) so i want to build it with
some of those parts.

I have a few questions to make sure i use the best parts....

1.Should i use the Skunk2 Intake Mani or the OEM B18c6 Intake Mani?

2.Should i use the B16 Head (skimmed 30 thou) or the ITR head?

3.Should i use the stock ITR pistons, or the Ek9 pistons?

4.On the B16, the S2S2 cams are really noisey, are they likely to sound the same on the B18?

5.Obv when mapped etc, how much quicker are the s2s2 cams going to be over the stock itr cams?

All this will be in a eg6 btw.

Thanks for any help, Ste

Any aftermarket cams or valvesprings with a higher seat pressure will increase valvetrain noise.

I would use the ITR head because of the factory port & polish. Try these compression calculators and chose what gives you a higher CR.
