Default Skunk2 Intake manifold

Just bought one, doesnt have the fitment for this part which my b16a2 currently
has any one know what it does and is it important?



Somebody said it was the IAT, but isnt this the IAT

It is the EVAP solenoid. It purges excess pressure in the fuel tank into the intake manifold to have it burned off. If you have to have emissions testing done, you need to have it hooked up and functional. You can easily remove it and it will not cause any damage to anything but the environment.

Thats fine, if i needed to hook it up for emissions testing, would i have to fit the stock IM again, or is ther a way around it?

You should just be able to run a hose from it to the manifold.
