well my best friend has his stock SI cams. Would using either one of those be good to use in conjunction with the ITR cams. I was thinking something like the ITR intake cam with the SI exhaust cam would be good any thoughts

That'd work well for a JRSC.

I think your boy should get an '88-'91 DX hatch and put in some kinda killer motor. Even with the full interior you'd only be at like, 2100 lbs tops.

Ya. If he's looking for a project car why not get something lighter and cheaper instead of blowing all the cash on stockage. He then would have the cash to do a helluva lot to it.

well i see your point in getting something older and hop it up. But he likes newer cars, i dont blame him. Hes most likely gonna get an O3 Rsx Type s. They are pretty easy to get mad hp, like 250hp with out much work, intake, headers, exhaust, and ecu chipping. We shall see just how much over time.

If he can find one, your friend should buy a type r, espicially if he can only pick one up for a few thousand more than his Si. That car is the one every nipper tries to be, and its a collectors item, so it wont loose much (if any) value over the next little while. I wouldn't worry about boosing too much. There are plenty of Naturally Asperated options to give you similar power to what a bolt on kit would give you.
