Default Gauge Cluster

I have a 92-95 civic coupe. I have an B18C swap. Before the swap my speedometer was working intermittently. Just recently my tachometer died and stopped working completely. I thought my gauge cluster was the problem so I bought a JDM gauge cluster. I plugged it in and started the car and still no tachometer reading. I didn't run the car with the new cluster so I don't know if the speedo is completely working or not. I also noticed that the JDM cluster does not have a socket to plug a yellow and green plug. What are those wires for? Is it important for me to plug those in? Do I need to re-wire those somewhere?

The jdm cluster is plug an play you dont have to plug in those 2 misc plugs. if i were you i would check your distributor i believe thats where the rpm pickup is at. Is everything else in the cluster working properly? temp, gas and, speedo?

The speedo is not working 100%. It stops working intermittently. I replaced the speed sensor. I still have the same problem. Temp and gas are working fine. I have been reading other threads and a lot of them say it might be the distributor. Is there anything in particular I should be checking?

its a distro problem for the tach, its the blue wire coming out. check to see it isn't pinched/cut/etc. You can also do a resistance test across the wire from the dizzy to the cluster with a DVOM.
