Default C1 Turbo Build

Ok I tried searching, but I get nothing but retards who can't spell and I can't tell a word for a sentence or a paragraph. So I thought I'd start my own thread, being the new guy.

Ok now to the point, I have a 95' Si HB which is my DD as of right now, but I plan on building a motor for it in my spare time. I am shooting for high numbers 500+whp. Any opinions and help are greatly appreciated.

My plans are:

B18C1 Block
LS Crank
Honda Bearings
ARP Head Studs
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Main Studs
OEM ITR Oil Pump
Eagle Rods
9:1 SRP Pistons
C5 head or C1 head
Sleeved
MSD 6-BTM
.030 Over Bore
Home Port Job

Now what size valves and what valve train to go with? What is a good engine management? Windage Tray? Clutch? Is a lightweight flywheel a good idea? What intake? What size injectors? Also I have an SC61 I can play with, a couple Holset's, and a Turbonetics 62-1.. However what would be a good set-up with a turbo, and what's a good turbo mani? What are good rings for this type of power? Also don't reply if you don't know what you're talking about.

Thanks

What does 500+ mean? Like around 500 whp or 600 whp?

All those turbos should make the power. What kind of Holsets are you talking about and what is the A/R on all those turbos? It might be helpful to find some compressor maps and see if your turbo is capable of flowing what you need it to without being too laggy.

Any size valve is fine. I would recommend Supertech valvetrain parts. There are a lot of good engine managements. Who is tuning the car? Find out what they are comfortable tuning. I run Neptune on my setup but AEM EMS, Hondata, Crome, and eCtune are all decent tuning solutions. Windage tray is a good idea. You can go with a lightweight flywheel but it will probably make your traction problems worse. K&N cone filter...it has been proven to make the power over screens or no filter. For 500 whp, I wouldn't go any smaller than 1000cc injectors. Rings that come with the pistons are what you want to run.

500+whp means whatever I can shoot for with my set-up. But my goal is 550.. Holsets are HX35's and HY35's..Or I can purchase another turbo. A local shop over here will be tuning it, he has a 300whp ITR and knows what he is doing, and I trust him.

if you want to make that kind of power i'd look into a twin disk clutch to hold it

All of those turbos should make the power.

Ask the shop what they are comfortable tuning with and use that.

He uses Hondata on his ITR so I think he'd be comfortable using that. However I don't know what model he uses, which wouldn't matter to me anyways, all Hondata's are the same correct except for other tuning 'capabilities' correct?

I take it you're talking about Jan @ Speed Industry? He's using an S300. And it should matter, he will tell you that, as would I. Not all hondatas are the same.

Also, he'll tell you to lose that old school MSD 6 BTM, it will no longer be needed, nor would have done any good in the first place, as it was never meant to see over 6Krpms.
