HELP! B16a Smoking out the engine...
I was driving my ef9 the other day the it has not stopped smoking since. I stopped driving it and i checked the oil and its about 2 inches higher then the 2nd mark on the dip stick. I dont know how it got that much in but it did. Im going to obviously drain it all out and put new oil in. Could that be the reason its smoking.. It also looks like its coming from next to the intake mani. Head gasket?
Is the oil runny and smell like fuel. Or is it milky looking ?. I bet its one of the two.
Head gasket is a possibility.
If its carburetted and its the gas smelling oil youve got then it could be just as simple as a plugged air filter.
Color of the oil is a big deciding factor.

I actually did an oil change on it and found out that my oil pan is bent.
Its bent in a weird place tho. Right where the pan connects to the bottom of the block.
Dont know how the rim got bent with no other damage to the pan, header, block... Weird. The gasket looks ripped and oil is dripping out VERY slowly and hitting my HYTECH headers which are hot as hell. Thats where the smoke is coming from. My test pipe is also covered in oil. Thanks for the heads up tho. It still could very well be the head gasket.
