b18c1 vs b18c5 vs b16a2 vs h22a2
hi guys i have a 91 integra ls and i want to put a new jdm motor but dont know which would be best for my car. im considerding a gsr, type r, b16, or h22. money is no real issue a have enough to play around with. thanks
any of the b series would be the same in terms of difficulty in swapping in since you'll have to do some wiring. the h22 would be harder cause you'd probably have to bang the frame around a little to get it in there.
get a b18c1. lots of potential.

OK THANKS I REALLY APPRICATE THE ADVICE. AND ITS CHEAPER THAN THE TYPE R SO I CAN HOOK IT UP A LITTLE BIT. BUT WHA SHOULD I DO TO IT FIRST? WHAT WOULD GIVE ME A GOOD JUMP RIGHT AWAY, IE:PISTONS,CAMS
depends on your goals overall. do you want to boost or go all motor? how much do you have to spend?
well i really dont care either is fine with me. i hear alot about cams, cam gears, pistons, throttle bodies and all that stuff. but also i hear about nos and turbo. i was looking to do maybe a little of both like the pistons and cams, with a turbo kit(on gsr engine). and about the money well it would be an step by step thing i wouldnt do everything at once. i would get each part graduately
if you are looking for alot of HP eventually, save up and go with a turbo! if you're a fan of all motor you can add parts as you get money as well as use them for the most part right out of the box! if you can't afford the whole turbo kit at once then piecing one together is a good option, you just have to be patient if money isn't always available but it well worth the wait!! Do some research though because you're always going to get different opinions about NA versus F/I!!
