trying to turbo my b18c1

Default trying to turbo my b18c1

i have a b18c1 and i and i am wanting to bild it up and put a turbo one it i but it has to be my every day driver i want it to be fast for when i want to race but i dont know what i need to do to add hp and keep it my every day driver

if the engine is healthy you can boost it as is. tuning is key though. get a good tune, maintain it well, and dont beat on it every chance you get and it'll last.

at this point, research as much as you can before doing anything. use the search function.

i spone the rod barings so i have to rebild it so i just want to bild it up but it has to be a every day driver

you're gonna need a new crank then. since you're doing that, if your budget allows might as well do forged rods and pistons, new rings, seals, etc.

yea i know but if u have a low conpreshtion moter made to run a turbo will it still be a every day driver or just a race car

you can use it as a daily driver. you're not going to be in boost 100% of the time.
