Hey, I got new 2.5" exhaust from the header back, no cat, and a magnaflow muffler. It sounds decent, but around 3,000 rpms, it makes the terrible rattle/fart can noise. And I can't stand it. So either Im looking for a recommendation for a good quieter muffler, or for an OEM Muffler I could use.

BTW its a 91 Crx, d16a6 with internals done. Its fun as hell to drive, but I drive through the city and in alot of traffic, and i'd rather not sound like im trying to race everyone around me.

Are you running a resonator at all? Have you checked to make sure that the exhaust isn't rubbing on something causing it to resonate at that particular RPM?
