after careful research, i've concluded the the tapping from my b16a gen2engine is bad LMA's after a proper valve adjustment and everything im still getting that weird random tap. i compared to vids on youtube im positive thats it, however im curious is it bad for the motor or detrimental to the performance of the engine???

 

Older B16's are notorious for having the LMA's go bad. It isn't really bad for the motor but I would look into having them replaced sooner than later.
