does anyone know about how much hp a stock b16 crank and rods can hold up to? or an estimated amount. i plan on using stock crank and rods, just forged pistons... thanks.

 

The crank is forged, so it will take anything you can throw at it. The rods are the strongest of the B series rods and people have been making 350 whp+ on them with a good tune.

I would highly recommend the investment in rods. They aren't that expensive.

 

might as well do forged rods along with forged pistons. you'll have to modify stock rods to fit forged pistons onto them anyway.
