pcv hose help!?!?
ok I have a 92-95 civic hb zc dohc swap I have an ideling problem my rev jumps I also have a hose coming from my pcv that is not connected anywhere (good chance this is way my revs are jumping) I have search everywhere to see where it connects but no luck the hose is only 6-8 inches long, anyone have an idea where it might connect to??
So one end of that hose is connected somewhere. Where??
The PCV valve should be in a line from the crankcase to the intake manifold. (Valve cover counts as crankcase since it's connected.)
There also needs to be a crankcase vent hose without restriction, connected from the intake hose upstream of the throttle. This supplies air to make up what's sucked out by the PCV hose.

to make it more easy when I get home I will snap a few pics with my camara so u have a better idea what I am talking about, because some ppl are telling me once u do the swap u have extra hoses but that does not sound to right to me, I am just at work now but when I get home I will take the pic and post them on here but thanks for the help so far
and to answer ur first question yes it is connected, the hose is running from the PCV cylinder, but just does not connect anywhere else I have looked all around my intake manifold for like a nipple or something that it should connect into but nothing at all so basically the hose is coming off the PCV but no where to connect, I dont know if after the swap that hose is just not functional or what but with the idel problem I am convinced it has something to do with that hose seeing that I am sure that hose has something to do with the the PCV running to the intake manifold or along those lines somewhere but who knows where, sorry I am a rookie when it comes down to engine work thats why I was hoping someone on here would kinda knoiw what I was talking about and could help out lol
