Default car is going through oil like no tomorrow

ok...when accelerating hard, black smoke comes our the exhaust, it goes through a quart a week or so...new valve seals and rear main seal where just put in..new head gasket was too about 10k ago....im thinking bad rings, and that they need to be replaced....anyother ideas where it could be coming from

I thought black smoke = running rich?
Anyway, have you done a compression test?

I thought black smoke was running rich also, and burning oil is a bluish/whitish smoke. Anyways do a compression test and leakdown test.

Have you done a copression test since it's started burning oil? See if any of your numbers have changed.

Your initial numbers are fine. I'm guessing if your rings are gone, your compression numbers will be lower now.
