hey i have an ek hatch that i'm building a gsr for but i got the rods from one gsr motor which i dont know the color code for but the rods are stamped with a 3, and I'm using a crankshaft from another gsr motor and the crankshaft has a blue dot on it. so would i use oem honda blue rod bearings or would i need to know the color of the crankshaft that the rods came from?

 

You don't need to know the color of the crankshaft that the rods came from, but you need to know the codes that are stamped onto the crankshaft that you will be using...
You match those codes up with the numbers stamped onto the rods, and that will tell you the correct color code you will need to use.
