hi my friend has a b16a2 in a hatch when he runs it it sputers at high rpm between 7 8 grand we checked the plugs they are tan so the plugs are good they where gap at 44 ngk11 yesterday we switched them to ngk7 and gap them to 40 but it still does it he has a msd should we gap it to 45 or go lower

unless it's boosted the gap should be at .044''. try taking out the msd and see what happens.

is he using a MSD Blaster coil.

gapped it to 44 and is running like a champ thank you
