CAI is simple, straightforward install, but..

what about the two thinner hoses? i attached one to the engine, cut an inch off extra hose off (it was 10" and looked like it had been cut sloppily) and it slid right over the sensor and fits perfectly in the hole on the back of the upper intake pipe. but, what about the other small hose on a 99 Civ DX? is it for a future mod like a turbocharger? i capped it off for now, runs smooth, but if im missing something, i need to know.

i also have two pieces of aluminum, im guessing theyre for support, but they'd have to attach to the engine or suspension (not the frame) and i dont truly know what they're for...
